The Connect program was conceived to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills. It aimed to empower students with a diverse set of skills that are essential for personal and professional development. The event was held at the Socioso New Block basement 5 auditorium and the mastercard conference room which spanned over two days.

The Connect was designed with the primary objective of equipping students with skills beyond their academic degrees. The event witnessed an impressive turnout with over 800 enthusiastic participants.
The program featured a wide range of workshops, including leadership development, communication skills, financial literacy, and career planning. These workshops were conducted by industry experts and experienced professionals, ensuring high-quality content. It also provided an avenue for networking among students, faculty, and industry representatives. Participants had the chance to interact with potential mentors and employers, fostering valuable connections.

Special attention was given to enhancing soft skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability, which are essential in the workplace.
Many attendees expressed gratitude for the opportunity to gain practical skills that complemented their academic pursuits. They found the workshops and discussions highly informative and relevant to their future careers. The program was also commended for its organization and smooth execution.

The Connect organized by the SRC General Secretary, Miss Comfort Awuah was a resounding success, equipping students with valuable skills and fostering connections that will benefit them in their academic and professional journeys. It is evident that such initiatives are crucial for holistic student development and should be continued and expanded in the future.
