Launch of KNUST Newsletter "Eureka" and Writers' Clinic: A New Era for Student Creativity

On 29th June 2024, the office of the KNUST SRC General Secretary officially launched the KNUST newsletter "Eureka" and the KNUST Writers' Clinic, marking a major step forward in promoting literary talent and enhancing communication skills at KNUST. The KNUST Writers' Clinic and Newsletter team, led by SRC General Secretary Miss Christabel Baaba Mills, provides a dedicated space for writers to develop their skills, connect with other creatives, and immerse themselves in the world of writing.

Our distinguished speakers, Isaac Justice Bediako, Ashanti Regional Correspondent for the EIB Network and Administrative Manager for the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, and Kafui Dey from Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, delivered motivational speeches emphasizing the significance of writing and communication skills for personal and professional growth. They highlighted the Writers' Clinic's role in fostering creativity and promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation. The event also included presentations detailing the mission and vision of the Writers' Clinic and the unveiling of the inaugural edition of the KNUST Newsletter. Interactive sessions provided attendees with the opportunity to share their thoughts, ask questions, and engage in discussions about the future of the Writers' Clinic and the Newsletter.

The event saw active participation from over 600 attendees, who engaged in discussions, posed insightful questions, and shared their experiences. Positive feedback from participants highlighted the effectiveness of the sessions in clarifying the objectives of the Writers' Clinic and the Newsletter and empowering them to contribute to KNUST's literary community.
