One of the preventive measures given ageist the deadly coronavirus is exercising on a regular basis. As such KNUST SRC partnered the sports directorate of the university to come up with a sporting activity to get students straightened up. Intense training by the KNUST sports team in preparation for the upcoming Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) 2022 games which would be hosted by KNUST also took place to keep the team in good shape. The SRC in a bid to further Team KNUST’s agenda “host and win” thus in collaboration with the KNUST Sports Directorate organized the Fresher’s Games to scout out and recruit new talent to join the sports team to further the agenda and make it a reality.
The one week (1st -8th February, 2022) long inter- hall fresher’s games centered on disciplines such as football, basketball, volley ball, athletics among others.
